AJ’s Wigs originated in the 1950’s under the name of Wig World as a part of A. J. Houle Corporation. We are New England’s largest full service wig salon.
Jonathan Ball and Robert Cook are current owners with 23 years in the hair salon business as part owners of Avalon Hair Design and Avalon the Salon and Spa. They have owned AJ’s Wigs currently for 4 years and have increased sales by 110%.
Because we have maintained the same dedication to service and expertise for Men Women and Children and added solid business practices we are confident in our next step of franchising.
Throughout the history of the Franchising, there has never been a wig franchise. Different than hair club for men we have a built in client base that can be tapped into for almost guaranteed success.
Current:
Currently we have hired a franchising company that will help take us from the conception of this idea to actually selling the franchise on our behalf. We have investigated this company and they currently concentrate on small businesses that wish to stay regional.
AJ’s Wigs currently is honing its method of consultation and execution with each guest. We currently can fit AJ’s Wigs as a franchise into any stand alone salon, Hair salon, tanning salon or spa. The method is still the same of concentrating on oncology clinics and insurance company’s and cosmetologist’s as referrals. Currently word of mouth still out performs either of these due to our remarkable reputation.
Such a great business opportunity to not only serve a myriad of clients, but to grow at a faster rate of success. Sales for each franchise owner will be determined by zip code. Stream lining the ordering process through the same system. Maintaining the least amount of inventory necessary for a guest, but being able to get the merchandise to the franchisee in a timely manner.
Further, we would acquire a direct insurance billing franchise to bill insurance companies. Not only can this be for AJ’s wigs franchisees but we also can have other small business owners that bill insurance companies such as chiropractors and LMT’s.
Our vision will be constantly revised by new technology, Better pieces, the insurance industry we further can acquire through American Dream Corporation a virtual prosthetic to be able to compete with companies like Hair Club for men.
